Turn on loud upbeat music. 

Adjust height of ergonomic chair (calves not touching thighs).
Go for walk.
Buy some more (more) magazines.
Cup of aromatic herbal tea.
Toast.
Cold shower.
Hot shower.
Glass of very aromatic wine.
Ask unemployed friend/relative to come over and oh yes, 

“bring some cake”..

All this while you are waiting for the geni in genius 

to alight on your shoulder and grant you a wish 

for a genius solution to the brief 

only, another e is  needed to spell genie so, 

waiting for the genius solution to “alight” is  currently blowing out the deadline…
