How can there be war when there is music?
I grew up on Karajan and the Berlin Philharmonic recordings of Beethoven and went to the Perth Concert Hall to see WASO perform his Ninth Symphony last Thursday - those who don't know it listen to it loud, it's magnificent - for those who do I don't need to say anything except "Do you need a tissue?" I have my friends sleeping baby in the house so it's my Sennheisers are helping me with this one today....

Tie Me Up Friday!
Well here is a bit more of George Frizzle and a few progress pics..
In order of apperance: Joe's old wooden tool box has become my "craft" kit, Bow Ties ready for pressing, the leftover paper from making bunting (so pretty but I wonder what I can use it for...maybe some kind of 80's electro collage?), Les Bow Ties avec mannequin, and lastly I rushed to get a few plates painted with GOLD for Betty to take for firing in the kiln...(this particularly effortless effort will not be advancing to the firing stage! )
Well, my guests Becky Ben and Eva (le bébe) arrive tomorrow from England so I will be working deep into the night trying to relieve my schedule so I can make some time to play - Salut!
It's all coming along.....!

Acne or ACNE?
I have a bowtie fetish - as you will soon see with George Frizzle but I think ACNE has out done my Liberty Print Summer Bow ties with this nod to mother nature at their London launch party.... My friend Rob works for ACNE in London and Paris and I am waiting to hear if he was privy to this party and whether or not he was tempted to hijack this beautiful accessory and make it his own...?
more George Frizzle.....
